Edmonton's Best Toboggan Hills

Snow, snow, and more snow. Once you’ve completed all the shoveling, head to the hills – the toboggan hills, for some cheap thrills and winter fun.

Sunridge Tubing Hill
Forget walking up the hill, at this park, there is a dedicated tubing lift. The special tubes are provides and there are three groomed chutes. It’s $17/person for a lift pass and tube rental. Helmet rental is an extra $8. More details here.

Gallagher Park
This one’s for thrill seekers. It’s a long walk to the top and a steep ride down. Prepare to get out of the way quickly, sleds fly down this hill! Located behind the Muttart Conservatory, next to the Edmonton Ski Club - 97 Avenue and 92 Street (map).

Rundle Park
Located in the east, this large park offers many hills with little worry of tree interference.  Arrive and choose from two great hills, ACT hill or Walton’s Mountain (map).

Government House
Calling only the very brave - this is one steep hill! Snow will fly in your face. Groat Road and River Valley Road (12845 102 Avenue Northwest, map)

Seven Hills (St. Albert)
For a gnarly ride complete with unexpected jumps and stunning views of downtown St. Albert, head to 7 Hills. Bring your GT racer. There’s parking at the bottom or top of the hill (map). After sledding, warm up with hot chocolate or coffee St. Albert venues like La Crema Caffe, Ric’s Grill or Stella Blu Café.
