Visit a chic French bistro without the trip to Paris. The newly opened Bistro La Persaud is nestled within La Cite Francophone.
The cozy French bistro serves delicious classics like mussels, salade nicoise, croque-madame and escargots. Chef Emmanuel David charms with his twists on classics: macaroni cheese with shimiji and porcini mushrooms and salted cod, maple-bacon wrapped pork filet with stewed apples and a cognac demi-glace; or try the filet mignon topped with a chevre noir crust.
Adding to the experience is the lovely menu written in French, followed by an English translation and a selection of wine from France’s finest regions. C’est vraiment francais.
While the bistro is small and intimate, there’s more to La Persaud – an entire event centre. La Persaud can host up to 250 people. During the summer months, it will be possible to host events on the terrace.
The sold-out Grand Opening cocktail party takes place this Wednesday, January 26. Make a reservation toute de suite for a little taste of France.
